Israel Post has an option to send packages from the post office to your home (for 20 NIS)

Image
We just discovered this recently, if you are in בידוד or just stuck at home... You can get packages straight to your door. No need to step foot in the post office or store pickup anymore. There are several options, but the cheapest one seems to be My Post שליחת מדלת לדלת for 20 NIS. We do not recommend Gett Delivery because they charge by the meter (not flat-rate). If you do decide to go with Gett, you should use our link to get a coupon on your first ride (new users only) - http://b.gett.com/im?coupon=GTVKJYYMore information on the Mail Delivery- https://mypost.israelpost.co.il/pages/ad_habait_shlihim
You can see this option from the item tracker (מעקב משלוחים) page on their site. Note that if you order via Amazon, they are supposed to deliver the package to your house. If they don't, you can complain to their customer service and request to switch to a different service - https://sales.aviparshan.com/p/customer-service-options.html

Kindles that ship to Israel for free!

Image
I have found some Amazon Kindle E-Readers that have free shipping to Israel. The only issue is that you will have to pay VAT, so purchase it separately from your other items. I love reading books on my Kindle, the only downside is not being able to read on Shabbat.
