Best used and second hand item sites in Israel in 2025

 If you want to buy or sell second hand items in Israel in 2025, there are plenty of ways to do so!

Here are my go-to places for buying and selling things. Note that a basic to mid-level understanding of Hebrew is required (or using Google Translate and hoping for the best)

Top recommendations 

Yad2 - Literally means 2nd hand

- They have cars, real estate, a job board, and of course second hand items

- You can browse the site for free, and even post items without paying... they will try to upsell you on boosted and promoted listings (if you are trying to sell items)

- People can reach out about your listing via your phone number or their chat service (less popular)

Example listing

For example, you can boost your listing once every 24 hours for free. Additionally, they don't support heic/heif picture formats 


Facebook Marketplace

- Facebook account required

- Unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers selling and buying items

- It is also free, with an option to promote your listings

- There is a rating system between buyers and sellers (but it is skewed)


Agora

- This site is only for giving away/getting items for free

- Popular items go quickly, so reach out to the relevant person who listed the item ASAP

(This happened out of the blue last night) The item must be SBA or FBA in order to qualify , in addition there are categories and certain items that do not ship at or or just cost money to import.  SBA = Sold by Amazon FBA = Fulfilled by Amazon FBM = Fulfilled by Merchant The import deposit fee and VAT still apply when the order cost exceeds $75.  Not all items have propagated this change yet, so add to cart and be patient!   It is best to pay in  USD rather than NIS because amazon's exchange rate isn't favorable, and מע"מ is calculated in USD, so any fluctuation in shekels might throw you over the exemption limit.  Lastly, you need to reach the minimum of $49 spent to hit the free shipping threshold...
